I have more art than I have square feet in my apartment. I rarely form an attachment to any of my pieces, so the obvious solution to this is to sell most of it. I’ve tried this before and I think the reason it failed was because I named the prices. So, this time around, if you see a piece you want, name your price, and we’ll talk it out. In July of 2011, everything seemed pretty good for Freelance Illustrator and Designer, Jon Laing. In August of 2011, he was broke and at odds with all of his major clients. So, posed with two options—work for peanuts and hope everything worked itself out and potentially have to give up living independently in the city, or give up freelancing—Jon chose to be a quitter.

Honorable Mention in William H. Ely Juried...
Every year the Senior Illustration class has a Juried Exhibition of the theses, and this year I had the honor (and surprise) of being recognized with an honorable mention. Other honorable mentions were Kate Eagle, and Rachel Kantor. Third place was Lauren Lopez, second place was Laura Yumang, and first place was my bro Miguel Co.
It was a really strong show, and it is a mystery how the judges...
